Nisa in the UK
Salaam semua, Nisa here! I've been di UK since September last year (just before Raya, uwa!) and so far it's been an interesting, although at times challenging, experience. I am studying arah University of Leicester, which had been recently voted University of the Year 2008/9. Leicester is a small town just 1 hr away from London by train, and it's a really peaceful place to live in. Makanan halal pun sanang cari since there are a lot of Muslims living here. Anyway, will just show you some things I've been up to since kemari: 1. Living in the lab This is the GIS lab di uni, and I have spent so many hours here mbuat practical and assignments, since some of the programs we need (ArcGiS, Visual Basic 6, etc) are only fully available on campus and in the lab.
